Born on April 28, 1944, in the small town of Teague, Texas, Shirley carried the warmth of her roots throughout her life, illuminating the hearts of those around her.

She was a mother, a sister, and a cherished friend who embodied a bubbly personality that could uplift any gathering. Her laughter and joy for life were infectious; she had the remarkable ability to make even the most mundane of moments feel like a cherished memory in the making. Yet, beneath her fun-loving demeanor lay a firm resolve—when Shirley spoke, her words held weight. She meant every word she said, and her honesty and authenticity endeared her to many.

Shirley's legacy will be honored at a visitation on June 26, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by her funeral service at 11:00 AM, both taking place at Golden Gate Funeral Home - Ft. Worth, located at 5701 East Loop 820 South, Fort Worth, TX 76119.
