Obituary:

Shirley May Alexander, born on January 18, 1938, in Folsom, Louisiana, passed away on May 5, 2024, in Arlington, Texas. She was a beloved individual who touched the lives of with her warm and generous spirit.

Shirley was known for her vibrant personality and infectious joy. She had a remarkable ability to brighten any room she entered and was truly the life of the party. Her unwavering faith was evident to all who her, as she devoted herself wholeheartedly to serving the Lord.

One of Shirley's most endearing qualities was her welcoming nature. She had a gift for making everyone feel like a friend and never hesitated to show kindness to others. Her love for her family knew no bounds, and she found immense joy in caring for those closest to her.

Shirley will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Though she may no longer be with us, her legacy of love, faith, and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Services to honor and celebrate Shirley's life will be held on May 18, 2024, starting at 12:00 PM at Doughty Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church located at 623 Lee Road, Covington, LA 70433. The burial is scheduled at 1:30pm at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington, LA. 

Shirley May Alexander is survived by her loving family members and friends. May she rest in peace while her memories bring comfort to those who mourn her loss.
