SHIRLEY J. MOORE

Shirley J. Moore, a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse, passed away on August 22, 2025, at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. Born on February 9, 1947, in Fort Worth, she carried the spirit of her hometown throughout her life, serving her community with unwavering commitment and compassion.

Shirley touched the lives of many during her nursing career, always striving to provide the best care for her patients. Her warmth and understanding were evident in her approach, and she left an indelible mark not only on those she cared for but also on her colleagues, who admired her dedication and kindness.

Beyond her professional life, Shirley had a vibrant personality that shone through her hobbies and interests. She loved fishing, where she found both peace and joy in the tranquility of nature. Cooking was another passion of hers, sharing delicious meals with family and friends, bringing people together around the table. Additionally, she enjoyed playing Bingo, often finding excitement in the thrill of the game and the camaraderie it fostered among players.

Shirley is remembered by her family and friends as a woman of great spirit, whose laughter and love brightened the lives of those around her.

A viewing will be held in her honor on August 29, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Fort Worth, Texas. A funeral service will take place the following day, August 30, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Good Shepherd Temple of Praise in Fort Worth.
