STACI NICOLE CLEWIS

September 11, 1982 — July 30, 2025

Staci Nicole Clewis, born on September 11, 1982, in the vibrant heart of Dallas, Texas, departed this world far too soon on July 30, 2025, leaving behind a legacy woven with threads of joy, laughter, and an ever-illuminating spirit.

Staci was not just a name; she was an experience — an outgoing force with a beautiful big smile that could light up any room. She was known for her outspoken nature and boundless generosity, embodying the essence of what it meant to be the life of the party. Whether hosting family gatherings or simply hanging out with friends, Staci infused every moment with a warmth that made those around her feel cherished and valued. Her love for cooking and sharing meals further deepened her connections with family and friends, as she understood that food is a universal language of love.

As a proud mother, Staci dedicated herself to raising her three sons, Jatterious Adams, Onterryio Adams, Jr., and Derrell Adams, as well as her beloved daughter, Lashonta Kelley. Her heart swelled with joy as she welcomed her two grandsons, Jatterious Jr. and Kamauri, into her life, finding immense pride and fulfillment in being their grandmother. Staci's influence will forever echo in their lives, as she instilled values of love, resilience, and courage in the hearts she cherished most.

Her departure marks a profound loss for her family, including her mother, Mary Clewis, and children: Jaterrious, Onterryio, Derrell Adams daughter: LaShonta Kelley, 3 grandchildre; siblings: Kevin Clewis (Vera), Herman Jr., Herman Hernandez, Herman Wayne (Ledetria), Jamonica Clewis, Barbara Crowe, Connie Cain (Ray), and Sandra Gossett; three aunts, Luretha Hamilton, Lula Taylor and Phelonese Butler(Willie), Ella King and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.   Together, they will carry the weight of her memory, celebrating the love and joy she brought into their lives.

Staci is preceded in death by her father, Herman, as well as her grandparents, who surely welcomed her with open arms once again, knowing that her spark could never be extinguished. Though they may no longer share the same physical space, the bond remains unbreakable, etched in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

The celebration of Staci’s life will commence with a heartfelt wake Service on August 8, 2025, at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. There, family and friends will gather to honor the vibrant soul that she was. The following day, her life will be celebrated more fully during a Celebration of Life, a testament to the love and joy she brought to so many.

In our hearts, Staci Nicole Clewis will forever remain a beacon of kindness, laughter, and unapologetic love. As we remember her, let us cherish the moments spent together and continue her legacy of giving and caring, ensuring that her spirit lives on in each of our lives.
