STANLEY JOHNSON

Stanley Johnson, born on November 3, 1963, in Dallas, Texas, peacefully departed this world on August 18, 2025. A son of the Lone Star State, Stanley embodied the spirit of Texas in every fiber of his being. Known for his outgoing and friendly nature, he captivated the hearts of those around him with his ability to engage in lively conversations on any level. With an inviting smile and an infectious laugh, he was a true embodiment of Southern charm.

Stanley's life was rich with a myriad of interests and passions. He found joy in music, playing both bass and lead guitar, as well as the drums. His love for melody resonated not only within him but also with everyone fortunate enough to hear him perform. Whether he was strumming a guitar at a family gathering or engaging with his church community, Stanley brought music to life, intertwining it with the fabric of love and fellowship.

Beyond the world of music, Stanley was an avid soccer player, contributing his energy and enthusiasm to the local JOB team. His spirit of camaraderie extended into his involvement with the church, where he dedicated himself to service and the betterment of others, reflecting his deep commitment to faith and community.

Famously known for his culinary indulgences, Stanley’s heart was often found in his favorite dishes of smothered chicken, pork chops, and BBQ. Each meal was a testament to his love for family gatherings, where laughter and memories mingled over shared plates.

Stanley’s proudest accomplishments were his unwavering love for his wife, children, and grandchildren. He treated everyone with respect and kindness, embodying a philosophy of humility and generosity. As we gather to honor Stanley's remarkable life, a Prayer Service will be held on September 3, 2025, at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, starting at 6:00 PM and concluding at 7:00 PM. The following day, a Funeral Service will commence at the same venue, beginning at 1:00 PM.

Stanley Johnson leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and an uncanny ability to celebrate life in all its forms. His memory will forever be etched in the hearts he touched, his spirit soaring on the wings of the songs he so enjoyed.
