TAFT NICKERSON

Taft Nickerson, born on December 7, 1950, passed away on June  1, 2025. He was a beloved figure known for his vibrant personality, infectious laughter, and love for life. Taft was a fun-loving individual, often seen as the jokester among friends and family. His easy-going nature made gatherings a joyful experience, and he cherished the moments spent with those he loved.

Taft had a passion for creation and craftsmanship, particularly in the form of building birdhouses that would bring charm to his surroundings. He also had a keen interest in sports, having played baseball, and loved engaging in friendly competition through games of dominoes and cards. His playful spirit and dedication to fun fostered a warm environment during family and friend gatherings, leaving behind wonderful memories for all who were fortunate to know him.

Visitation will be held on June 13, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224. The funeral service will take place the following day, June 14, 2025, at 1:00 PM, also at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas. Subsequently, Taft will be honored with a burial at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery on June 16, 2025, starting at 9:15 AM.

Taft Nickerson leaves behind a legacy of joy and love that will resonate within the hearts of his family and friends for years to come. His spirit will undoubtedly continue to inspire those who were touched by his humor and kindness.
