Tanzi Deshawn Williams, a spirited and talented culinary chef, left this world on May 19, 2025, in her beloved hometown of Dallas, where her remarkable journey began on December 14, 1976. Her passion for cooking was boundless and unforgettable, touching the lives of many through the warmth of her kitchen.

From a young age, Tanzi's culinary skills blossomed, eventually leading her to attain a certification in culinary arts, where she honed her craft with fervor. Her mother, Sharon, fondly remembers the exquisite tenderness of Tanzi’s pork chops, which were known to literally melt in one’s mouth—a testament to her dedication and flair for flavor. Tanzi had an undeniable gift, effortlessly creating amazing cuisines that filled hearts and homes with joy.

Yet Tanzi was much more than just a skilled chef. Despite her small stature, she possessed an indomitable spirit, complemented by a feisty personality that infuriated and enchanted in equal measure. She stood firmly in her convictions, a trait that could occasionally be perceived as stubbornness. But those who knew her would attest that her unyielding demeanor was often softened by the warmth of her culinary creations. She had a remarkable ability to win people over with a home-cooked meal, sharing not just food but a piece of her heart with every dish.

As life unfolded, Tanzi transitioned into a role as a cashier, bringing her signature charm and industrious nature to various businesses while maintaining her love for food and community. Her laughter and spirit enriched countless lives, and memories of hanging out and enjoying life's simple pleasures will forever linger in the hearts of her friends and family.

In these trying times, her loved ones gather, including her devoted mother, Sharon Camelia Williams; her sister, Shandell Williams; and her cherished nephew, Jaden Brooks. They reflect on the vibrant life Tanzi led and acknowledge the unwavering support of friends Monica Turner, Wanda Williams, Carnell Clark, Donnis Branch, Telvin Branch, and Keisha & Mika Williams, who were there during her final moments, providing comfort and companionship.

Tanzi is preceded in death by her father, James Earl Williams, whose memory will remain intertwined with hers in a tapestry of love, laughter, and shared experiences.
