Tonya Michelle Tillman, a spirit as vibrant as the sun that graced her beloved Arkansas skies, left this world on May 9, 2025, at the age of 52. Born on March 10, 1973, in North Little Rock, Arkansas, she embodied warmth and generosity—a beacon of light to everyone fortunate enough to cross her path.

Her educational journey began at the University of Arkansas at North Little Rock, where she forged the foundation for a life filled with ambition and passion. With a bachelor’s degree in hand, Tonya embarked on a career at Selene Financial Company, applying the same determination and heart she displayed in every aspect of her life. She was known to go above and beyond for anyone in need, a testament to her unwavering commitment to helping others.

An outgoing and warm-hearted individual, Tonya greeted each day with an open spirit, relishing in the beauty of friendship and the excitement of trying new experiences. Whether she was delighting in cooking up a storm in her kitchen or exploring diverse eateries, she brought joy in abundance. Her weekends were often spent exploring with friends, laughter echoing as she played cards and dominoes, always welcoming new faces into her circle. These memories formed the essence of the extraordinary life she lived, fueled by a love for travel and the pursuit of adventure.

Tonya’s proudest accomplishments included purchasing her own home, a personal sanctuary reflective of her life lived to the fullest. And paramount among her triumphs was finding her soulmate, Curtis White. Their bond was a celebration of love, one that filled her life with happiness and fulfillment.

Tonya leaves behind her loving husband, Curtis White; her devoted mother, Barbara Hicks; her cherished sister, Keisha Mitchell; her brother, Michael Tillman; and a host of other relatives and friends whose lives she touched indelibly.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate the extraordinary life of Tonya Michelle Tillman will be at later date.
