With profound sorrow and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Treyvon Jackson, a radiant spirit born on October 2, 1999, in Fort Worth, Texas, whose laughter and light touched all who knew him. He departed this life on March 21, 2026, in Corsicana, Texas, leaving behind a legacy woven from the warmth of his humor, the depth of his caring, and the indelible mark of a soul that knew no strangers.
Treyvon—fondly called “Sumo” in his earliest days, a tender nod to his chunky baby charm—grew into a young man known affectionately as “Suskii” among friends and “Travis” to his in-laws. No matter the name, he answered with respect and grace, embodying a presence both magnetic and sincere. His journey began in Irving, Texas, where he embraced the camaraderie of football from the IBFA leagues through to his graduation from Irving High School’s class of 2019. His fields of play transformed over time from the gridiron to the vibrant rhythms of life; dancing, fishing, farming, and rapping became his joyful pursuits. Especially treasured were the moments spent rapping alongside his cousin Justin King, whose bond was more brotherly than familial.
In his professional life, Treyvon found satisfaction and purpose as a machine operator at Pactiv, where his dedication and steady hands reflected the quiet pride he took in his work. Yet, it was beyond the job that his true spirit blossomed—he was the life of any gathering, a wellspring of laughter and kindness, always ready to uplift those around him with his infectious humor and genuine friendliness.
Family was the cornerstone of Treyvon’s world. His greatest pride, nestled close to his heart, was his beloved daughter, Sessile Olivia Jackson—a shining beacon of his love and legacy. He lovingly shared his life with his fiancée, Tomasa Aguiree, with whom he built dreams alongside her parents Olga Hernandez and Custodio Aguirre. Treyvon was nurtured by a devoted circle: his mother, Quintina Lee; his father, Gregory Jackson; his maternal grandmother, Barbara Bowden; and his paternal grandparents, William and Dorothy Jackson. He was cherished by his sisters, Danielle Lee-Winston (Tracy) and Kel’neisha Harrison (Jordan), and held dear by brothers and cousins Justin King and Shafter Henley. Surrounded too by a loving extended family—an array of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews—his absence will echo deeply.
Treyvon is preceded in death by those who now rest beyond our earthly reach: his maternal great-great-grandmother, Olivia King, his paternal grandmother Delores Cahill, his siblings Damien Jackson and Tra’Nia Jackson, and his niece Maurielle Mack. Their memories, entwined with his, form an eternal tapestry of love.
The community is invited to honor Treyvon’s vibrant life through a viewing held on March 26, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Freeway. A funeral service will follow on the evening of March 27, beginning at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In remembering Treyvon, one sees a young man whose essence was woven from joy and compassion, whose laughter filled rooms and whose care embraced hearts. He lived life fully, leaving smiles where tears now fall, and an enduring testament to the power of love and genuine connection.
Rest gently, Treyvon Jackson. Your story, though ended too soon, shines eternally in the hearts you lifted and the lives you touched.
