TROY LEE SMITH

Troy Lee Smith, a dedicated individual who devoted 35 years of his life to foundation drilling in Dallas, Texas, has peacefully passed away on July 7, 2024, in his hometown of Dallas. He was born on August 6, 1964, in Shamrock, TX.

During his remarkable career in foundation drilling, Troy made significant contributions to the industry through his hard work and passion. His commitment and expertise were evident to all who had the pleasure of working with.

Outside of work, Troy had a vibrant personality that left a lasting impact on everyone he met. He known for never being a stranger and always greeting others with a warm smile. His charm and charisma brightened the lives of those around him.

In his leisure time, Troy indulged in his hobbies that brought him joy and relaxation. As an accomplished chef, a dedicated Dallas Cowboys fan, an avid fisherman and loved camping, he found solace and fulfillment in these activities.

Above all else, Troy considered his family as his proudest accomplishment. He cherished the moments spent with loved ones and was a beacon of love and support for those closest to him.

Troy Lee Smith will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, kindness, and love that will continue to inspire those whose lives he touched.

Services to honor Troy's life will be held at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224. A visitation will take place on July 19, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM followed by a funeral service on July 20, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
