TRUMAN MCGUIRE

TRUMAN MCGUIRE, born on November 13, 1946, departed this life on December 25, 2025, leaving behind a legacy that will be cherished by many. He devoted his life to his family, his community, and his country, embodying values of service, kindness, and leadership throughout his years.

A proud veteran, Truman served his country diligently in the United States Army, demonstrating a commitment to duty and an unwavering love for his nation. His service extended beyond the military; as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, he nurtured and supported his family with the same dedication he showed in all aspects of his life.

Truman was an industrious man, successfully running his own lawn service and plumbing business. He not only provided for his family through his work but also mentored many young people in the community by coaching little league football, baseball, and basketball for the West Dallas Police Athletics League. His spirit of community service was further reflected in his active involvement in crime prevention initiatives with the Dallas Police Department, where he sought to foster a safer environment for all residents.

A respected member of his church, Truman served as a Deacon, guiding others with compassion and wisdom. His friendly demeanor and outgoing personality made him a beloved figure in his community. He was known for his good judgment and ability to see the best in people, always willing to lend a helping hand or a listening ear to those in need.

Truman McGuire's remarkable life will be honored through a Viewing at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224, on January 4, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Following this, a Funeral Service will be held in the Golden Gate Funeral Home Chapel  at the same location on January 5, 2026, at 9:00 AM  

He leaves behind a rich tapestry of memories, woven through the lives he touched, and a model of integrity and hard work for future generations to aspire to. Truman's legacy will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those who had the privilege to know him.
