Verna Jean Jones-Brackens was born to Alberta Alishia Bagley-Hightower and James Alexander on August 17, 1939. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Cornelius Bagley, Harry Lee Bagley and Delma Ray Bagley; sister, Willie Mae Shannon. She leaves to cherish her memories: brother, Joe Terry Bagley; sisters, Linda Ray Bagley, Margret Ann Lyons and Stella Ruth.
