Vernard Lamond Wynn, beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away on December 31, 2023. Born on November 23, 1975, in Dallas, Texas to Jessie Lee Rolf and Henry Otis Wynn Sr., Vernard brought joy and laughter into the lives of all who knew him. His passing leaves a void in our hearts that can never be filled, but his memory will continue to inspire us.

Vernard attended Kimble High School where he developed a passion for learning and formed lifelong friendships. After graduating, he embarked on various adventures and pursued his many interests. Vernard had an insatiable curiosity about life and was a true lover of knowledge.

One of his greatest joys was spending time with his family. He had a mischievous sense of humor and would always find ways to play practical jokes on his loved ones. Vernard cherished the moments he shared with his children: Vernard Jr., Tranesia, and Amaya, Devontrae Smith, Tiffany Lewis. Their laughter and happiness were the cornerstones of his being. He was also a caring step-father to Davortae Smith and Tiffany Lewis.

Vernard had a special bond with his siblings. Growing up with James Wynn as his confidant and partner in crime brought immeasurable joy to both their lives. Deloris Hill, Janice Hill, Pamela Jackson, Kenneth Wynn, Henry Otis Wynn Jr., and Deloris Hill were not just siblings but also lifelong friends who stood by Vernard's side through thick and thin.

Tamika Lewis became Vernard's beloved boo, sharing countless memories together. They celebrated love and supported each other through every triumph and adversity. Their unwavering commitment was an inspiration to all who witnessed their union.

In addition to family ties that bound him closely together with the ones he loved the most, Vernard was also blessed with ten beautiful grandchildren. His immense love for them knew no bounds, and he cherished every moment spent in their company.

Vernard had a wide range of interests and hobbies that brought him immense pleasure. Whether he was indulging in his favorite pastimes of watching movies, sports, or going out to eat, or simply listening to music on a tranquil evening, he found solace in the simple joys of life. Vernard's magnetic personality drew people towards him, and he was always surrounded by friends who treasured his company.

Vernard Lamond Wynn touched countless lives during his time on earth. His helpful nature, playful demeanor, quick wit, and practical jokes endeared him to all who were fortunate enough to cross paths with him. In his passing, Vernard leaves behind cherished memories that will forever be etched in the hearts of his surviving family members and friends: Tranesia Wynn (Daugther)(Elijah), Amaya Wynn (Daughter), Devontrae Smith (Step-son), Tiffany Lewis (Step-Daughter), Deloris Hill (Sister), Janice Hill (Sister), Pamela Jackson (Sister), Kenneth Wynn (Brother), Henry Otis Wynn Jr.(Brother), Tamika Lewis (His Boo), Mary Brewer (Mother-in-law); not forgetting ten grandchildren and his aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews whom he adored dearly. May they find strength and solace in their shared memories of Vernard, knowing that he will forever be watching over them from above.

Today, we bid farewell to a remarkable soul whose light may have dimmed, but whose legacy will forever shine brightly in our hearts. Vernard Lamond Wynn, you will be deeply missed and never forgotten. Rest in eternal peace.
