Vernon Taylor

Vernon Taylor, born on July 26, 1941, in Bernice, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas. Mr. Taylor's vibrant spirit and deep passions left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him, especially his loving wife, Gail Fields-Taylor of 23 years.

Throughout his life, Vernon embraced the simple joys that brought him happiness and a sense of community. He was a devoted enthusiast of dominoes, a game that not only sparked his competitive nature but also provided countless hours of camaraderie and laughter. His love for singing reflected his warm soul and his ability to bring people together through music. Additionally, Vernon had a genuine talent and passion for cooking, sharing meals that were made with care and enjoyed by family and friends alike.

Born in the small town of Bernice, LA, Vernon carried the values and warmth of his upbringing with him throughout his life. His presence in Fort Worth, TX, in his later years was marked by the same kindness and dedication that defined his character from the beginning.
