Growing up in Kennard, Victor excelled in sports, particularly basketball, as a proud member of the Kennard High School team. His athletic prowess was matched by his work ethic; he devoted many years to serving the community through his employment at Sears and made a significant impact over 25 years at Scottish Rite Hospital. His commitment to both his profession and his community earned him the respect and admiration of all who knew him.

Victor's faith played a pivotal role in his life. He was baptized at Kizzie Pond under the guidance of Pastor Walker at New Hope Baptist Church in Kennard, Texas. This moment marked the beginning of a journey grounded in spiritual strength and community service, which he carried with him throughout his life.

Victor was more than just a skilled athlete and dedicated worker; he was a beloved son, grandson, nephew, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. His warm spirit and generous nature touched the hearts of many, creating lasting bonds that will be cherished by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A viewing will take place on February 10, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. The funeral service will follow on February 11, 2026, beginning at 10:00 AM, also at Golden Gate Funeral Home.
