He relished in the simple pleasures of life—from coaching others and sharing his wisdom as a mentor, to spending cherished moments with his grandson, building bonds that would be spoken of lovingly for generations. An aficionado of automobiles, he could often be found tinkering with cars, problem-solving and bringing life back into each engine he touched. Traveling also ignited a spark in Vincent; exploring new places and experiences offered him an exhilaration that he cherished deeply. All the while, he savored the delight of a chilled Dr. Pepper and indulged in the creamy goodness of vanilla ice cream, simple treats that brought him boundless joy.

As we gather to remember a life that was truly one of a kind—a kind that was amazing, welcoming, and rich with love—we invite you to join us in honoring Vincent Edward Jefferson. His viewing will take place on June 16, 2025, at the Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., followed by a prayer service at 6 p.m. that same day. The funeral service will usher him to his resting place on June 17, 2025, at 1 p.m. at the same location.
