Across her 92 years, Viola illuminated every room and every heart she encountered with her loving, kind, and caring spirit—a legacy that will echo through generations.

Family, friends, and all whose lives were steering by her grace are invited to gather in loving remembrance. A Wake and Prayer Service for VIOLA HORTON JACKSON will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026, from 7:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224. The Funeral Service will follow the next day on Saturday, August 22, 2026, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at NEW EL BETHEL BAPTIST CHURCH, 2023 Mouser Lane, Dallas, TX 75203. Viola will be laid to rest at Lincoln Memorial Park, 8100 Fireside Drive, Dallas, TX 75217.
