Vivian Louise Duncan

Beloved Vivian Louise Duncan, 75, left us on August 22, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.

Vivian was born on March 7, 1951, in Kansas City, MO, to the late Thedeus Helen Thomas and the late Loice Columbus Minor. At an early age, Vivian moved to Phoenix, AZ where she resided with her father, Loice, and stepmother, Virginia. She received Christ at an early age. She also received her education in Phoenix. Vivian had a special love for her Aunt Jean and Aunt Hazella. Vivian also spent time with her grandmother Ella Thomas in Paris. TX.

Vivian moved to Texas, where she met and married the love of her life, Edward Lee Duncan, 46 years. She took the role as a Homemaker with love and pride. She was employed with Tandy Radio Shack for many years until retirement. She also drove the school bus for a private school.

Vivian enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She enjoyed listening to gospel music, gardening, playing cards, and sleepovers with her great-grandchildren.

Vivian Duncan is survived by her husband, Edward Lee Duncan of 46 years; her children: Donald Lajunda Minor, Tonya YaShunn Hale, Edward Duncan, and Cashaela Shepherd; 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters: Rhoda Ollie Jofawn Ollie and brother Jackie Gorgette Robinsonz; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Vivian was preceded in death by her daughter, Vonda Beall; father, LC Minor; mother, Thedeus Thomas; sister, Patricia Harris; brother, Wayne Minor; grandmother, Ella Thomas; and grandson, Donald Williams.
