Obituary:

Wanda Jean McGruder, also known as "Jean", beloved mother and grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away on July 7, 2024. She will always be remembered for her unwavering love for her ONLY daughter and three grandsons. Jean's presence brought light and joy to all those around her.

Born on November 28, 1953, she lived a life filled with love and kindness. She treasured her role as a mother and was dedicated to nurturing a strong bond with Kimberly and her grandsons that were her life. Their relationship was a testament to the enduring power of a mother's love.

To honor and celebrate Wanda's life, two services will be held at the Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas. The visitation will take place on July 19, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A Celebration of Life ceremony will follow on July 20, 2024, at 3:00 PM. These gatherings are an opportunity for family and friends to come together and pay their respects to a remarkable woman.

Jean leaves behind her surviving family and friends who will continue to cherish her memory. Although she may no longer be with us in person, her spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew her.

In this time of mourning, let us remember Wanda for the love she shared, the lives she touched, and the memories she created. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
