WAYNE ROBINSON

June 28, 1950 — January 15, 2021

Deacon Wayne E. Robinson the third of five children was born June 28, 1950 to the parentage of Jeff and Addie Robinson, in Dallas, TX. Wayne often used a catch phrase of “I turned around, and”… On January 15, 2021 at 3:45pm Wayne “turned around, and” entered into the waiting arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the loved ones gone before him. He was educated in the Dallas School System; he accepted Christ in his early youth and later served as an ordained Deacon at First Bible Baptist Church in Dallas, TX. He was a loving brother, husband, father, and grandfather, brother in law, uncle, cousin and friend. In June of 1969 he married the late Cynthia Ferrell, one son; Reginald Wayne was born to this union. He later met and married Linda D. Spraglin of Cason, TX; no children were born to this union. Linda preceded Wayne in death in 2016. Wayne worked in property management until he became disabled in his early 40’s. Wayne is preceded in death by both parents, siblings Dwaine Robinson, Glenda Robinson and Barbara Blackmon, nephews Douglas Williams, Artie Thompson and Dwayne Thompson. Wayne leaves to cherish his memories his son Reginald Wayne (Bernadette); two daughters Eboni and Tinsley; grandson Chase; two great grandsons Anthony and Ethan all of Atlanta, GA; sister, Linda Robinson Cox of Plano, TX; special cousins C.W. Whitaker and Carol Brooks and Minnie Boyd; best family friend Barry “Bubba” Browder (Cora) all of Dallas, TX. He also leaves many nephews, nieces, great nephews/nieces, and a host of other cousins and friends to celebrate his home going. Wayne will be greatly missed.
