Born on September 10, 1944, in Linden, Texas, she embodied a spirit that thirsted for understanding, particularly of God, which manifested throughout her life and the lives she touched.
Willard was a graduate of St. Paul High School in Neylandville, Texas, and earned an Associate's degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. Her pursuit of education was not merely a badge of honor but a testament to her relentless desire to expand her knowledge and share it with those around her. She was a woman of faith who served her community as a Sunday School teacher and held the role of Sunday School Superintendent. Her contributions to Women's Ministry reflected her commitment to nurturing her sisters in faith, guiding them along their spiritual journeys.
Her personality was a captivating blend of sternness and nurturing, crafted through her deep-rooted love for God and family. She was fiercely devoted to her loved ones, always putting their needs before her own and generously extending her heart and resources to others. Willard’s pride shone brightly through her children, whom she introduced to Christ—a legacy of faith that she held dear.
An aficionado of life, she relished moments spent in the exuberance of family gatherings, life’s simple pleasures such as traveling, and the thrill of visiting casinos. Each memory of laughter shared, stories woven, and love exchanged stands as a tribute to her vibrant spirit.
Her family and friends will gather to honor her life, beginning with a viewing at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas on October 31, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
