WILLIAM LEE GREEN

William Lee Green, beloved bartender and long-time employee of the Press Club, passed away on January 4, 2024, in Mesquite, Texas. Born on April 1, 1941, in Dallas, Texas, William brought joy and creativity to the art of mixology, leaving a lasting impact on the community he served.

William's journey began as a high school graduate with an insatiable passion for crafting delightful concoctions. With an unwavering dedication to his craft, he joined the esteemed team at the Press Club. His imaginative approach to mixology transformed ordinary drinks into exquisite works of art that tantalized taste buds and sparked conversations among patrons.

Beyond his career achievements, William was a compassionate individual who touched the lives of those around him. He possessed a warm smile and a genuine interest in connecting with others. His charisma extended beyond the bar counter, fostering deep connections with friends and family.

On January 19, 2024, a Prayer Service will be held to honor William at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas. The service will commence at 7:15 PM Central Standard Time. Following this gathering of friends and loved ones offering prayers and support to William's grieving family, a Funeral Service will take place on January 20th at 1:00 PM CST at the same location.

William's legacy lives on through his surviving family members; daughters Teresa Hollie and Felisha Bendaw. They not only carry his name but also his spirit of passion and zest for life that William embodied throughout his years.
