Willie Jett Hawkins Jr, a beloved member of the community, has passed away at the age of 62 on January 21, 2024. Born on June 3, 1961, in Ft Worth, Texas, Willie brought joy and laughter to everyone he met.

Known for his likable and laid-back personality, Willie easily made friends wherever he went. People were drawn to his warm smile and infectious laughter. He had a special way of bringing people together and creating a sense of unity and love in his presence.

Willie had a deep passion for fishing, spending countless hours casting his line into tranquil waters. Whether it was by the lake or out at sea, he found solace in the rhythm of the waves and the peacefulness of nature. Many memorable stories were shared around fishing trips with Willie; tales of laughter, camaraderie, and the one that got away.

In addition to fishing, Willie also had a keen interest in cars. He admired their precision engineering and elegant designs. Willie's eyes would light up whenever he had the chance to discuss automobiles with fellow enthusiasts. His knowledge and appreciation for cars extended far beyond mere transportation; they were his true obsession.

The visitation will be held on January 26, 2024, from 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. Friends and family are invited to join for a heartfelt farewell during the Celebration of Life on January 27, 2024, starting at 11:00 A.M., held at Miracle Deliverance Pentecostal in Dallas.
