Although Detroit was his home, Allen was a lifelong member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church of Fort Worth, Allen was known for his keen wit and gift of storytelling, which he inherited honestly, from both his mother and father. His no-nonsense character and high standards impacted the decisions and lives of all he came into contact with. His sons and grandchildren were his joy. Family was his priority, and he would go to great lengths planning annual vacations and visiting family and loved ones regularly. He enjoyed fishing, camping with friends and family as well as birdwatching. Allen also enjoyed cooking and was never afraid to try preparing new recipes. He also enjoyed shopping at antique shops and would often travel for miles to view their treasures. On Tuesday, January 5, 2021, Allen Dwain Dupree surrendered to the call of his Lord and Master and transitioned from earth to glory.
