ALVA BOGGESS

Alva was born as the eldest daughter to Alvin and Arthenia Johnson on January 4, 1943 in Buffalo, Texas (Freestone County). Alva started her career at Baylor Hospital in Dallas, Texas. Alva retired as head of the Nuclear Medicine Department after 28 years of service at John Peter Smith Hospital. Alva married O'Neal Boggess in October of 1967 in Fort Worth, Texas. Alva gave birth to their only child, Kevin O'Neal Boggess on March 24, 1968.

Alva Mae Boggess went home to Jesus on April 23, 2021 at the age of 78. She leaves to cherish her memories to a host of family and friends.
