IRLEAN BROWN

Ms. Irlean Brown went home to her Heavenly Father on April 2, 2021. Irlean was born in Linden, Texas on March 28, 1934 to Lessie B. Mathis, and Crawford Stephens. She grew up with 10 siblings, and is survived by two sisters, Maurine Carr, and Corine Griggs. Irlean had her first daughter Tresia Diann Epps, (deceased) before moving to Dallas, TX where she married Louis Alexander Sr. Having two children in this union; Marline Stephens Banks (Randy Banks) and Louis Alexander Jr. She later remarried Jewel Brown which she had one daughter, Angela Brown. Irlean was employed as a private nanny to the Fisher family. Her life was as beautiful as the flowers she grew and loved so well. She was the life of the parties she threw, loving music, and dancing with her joyous spirit and smile. Her unforgettable life will forever be cherished in the lives of her grandchildren, Tenolia Y. Finnell- Acosta (Juan Acosta), Antreal Brown, Quintina Brown, Kilolo Epps, and Cassandra Pegues. Irlean has 7 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister aunt, and friend. Her memory shall live on through us all.
