On December 3, 1959 the Lord blessed Joseph and Margie McLemore-Francis with a beautiful baby girl, Martha Lee McLemore.
Martha was born and raised in Dallas, TX. Growing up she attended school in the Dallas Independent School District. In 1977, Martha graduated from H. Grady Spruce High School. During her teenage years, Martha was a part of ROTC, Track & Field, as well as Drill Team. Martha accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at Seventh Day Adventist Church at an early age. Later in life, she became a member of Turning Point Church, under the Leadership of Bishop B.R. Walker; where she served until her health failed.
Martha McLemore-Clark was the mother of three beautiful children who were her pride and joy; DeMarkous, Tasha, and Charlene. She was a Unit Clerk at Baylor Hospital & Baylor of Garland for over 20 years. She also worked as a PBX Operator at Parkland and Inpatient Service NICU at Children’s Hospital. In Martha’s leisure time, she enjoyed playing bingo, Wheel of Fortune, and attending card games with the family.
Martha Lee was preceded in death by her father and mother, Joseph & Margie Francis; two of her siblings, Mae Katherine & Jerome McLemore; and son, DeMarkous McLemore; nephews, Demarlon Francis, Payne McCoy, Frederick Francis, niece, Teneccia Lott, great-nephew, Aiden Andrews, great-nieces, Angel and Star Francis.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Donald Clark, two children, LaTasha and Charlene Randle, grandchildren, Alexis, Ashley, Autumn, JaQuan, Journee, Justyce, Jewel; brothers, Joseph Francis, Jimmy Francis, Keith (Yvonne) Francis, sisters, Joann (Bobby) Williams, Margaret (Ronnie) Holliness, Lilly (Broderick) McNeely, Diane (Michael) Humphrey, two special friends, Pamela Gaines & Sheila Walker; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
