MARTHA SANDERS

Martha (Ainee) Sanders was born on January 23, 1927,  in Louisiana. She transitioned to eternity with her Lord on September 22, 2022,  in Dallas, TX, at the age of 95.

Ainee moved to Dallas early in her young life. She was united in marriage to John Henry Sanders, who preceded her in death. No children were born to this union.

In 1958, Ainee accepted GOD as her Lord and Savior and became a faithful member of Emanuel Church of God in Christ in West Dallas. She served under the leadership of the late Bishop T.L. Young as a member of the Usher Board. Later in life she fellowshipped with Saintsville COGIC.

Ainee, a wonderful homemaker who worked outside her home, was employed by the Abbott and McCollugh families of Dallas, TX, for many years. They loved each other dearly. A humble woman of GOD, she loved unconditionally, and never ever met a stranger. She opened her heart and listened to many, providing words of encouragement to all who needed her. She loved to travel and would go anywhere by bus. One of the things that brought much joy in her life was that she was a lover of dogs. During her lifetime she had many dogs. All had names but she referred to them as puppy.

She is lovingly remembered by a host of nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors, three wonderful and devoted caregivers; Alice Overton, Donna Murphy and Ms. Williams, who lovingly attended to her needs. We cannot thank you enough for all you have done to take care of Ainee.
