SHUNDA LANKFORD

Shunda Latrena Lankford, age 51, of Dallas, TX, passed away on April 5, 2021. She was born to the union of Arthur G. Lankford and Virginia R. Lankford on August 20, 1969 in Dallas, TX. After graduating from David W. Carter High School in 1987, she remained in Dallas where she worked, loved, and lived. She was preceded in death by: Roge Lankford (great-grandfather), Lulabell (Jody) Lankford (great-grandmother), Pink Board (great-grandfather), Alberta Smith (great-grandmother), Earnest Lankford, Sr. (grandfather), Earlene Houston (grandmother), Elisha Anderson (grandfather), Annie Pearl Anderson Board (grandmother), Arthur G. Lankford (father), Virginia R. Lankford (mother), Billy Perry (Uncle), James Charles Anderson (Uncle), Walter Charles Anderson (Uncle), Bobby Polk (Uncle), Sherman Polk (Uncle), Albert Polk (Uncle), and Shirley Ann White (Aunt) She is survived by Darius Broussard (son), Roderick Broussard (son), Javien Hyder (son); Zachary Broussard (grandchild), Earlana Gary (sister), Bernita Dowell (sister), Sidney Earl Smith (brother), George Polk (Uncle), Bridget Lankford Brown (Aunt), Joyce Lankford Skinner (Aunt), Darwin Earl Lankford (Uncle), Earnest Lankford Jr. (Uncle), Shirley Benson (Aunt), Joyce Jones (Aunt), Doris Brooks (Aunt), Betty Polk (Aunt), and best friends of over 30 years, Pamela Colomb (Charles) and Shelia Miller. She leaves behind a host of other loving family members, nieces, nephews, cousins, church members, former co-workers and friends who will miss her dearly.
