Obituary

Thomas Melvin Hunt was born on April 6, 1952 to the late Jerry Hunt and Mary Lee Hunt, and departed this life January 9, 2021. Melvin graduated from North Natchez High School in Natchez, MS and completed one year of trade school in Dallas, Texas. Melvin went on to manager position with Lone Star Credit Union and Radio Shack and his last employer in a supervisor position with the City of Dallas Parks and Recreation Dept. Melvin loved God, his cowboys, cars, and especially his three granddaughters. In late life, he suffered numerous medical problems. Melvin is survived by his son Trenton (Desiree) Hunt; three granddaughters, Yasmin, Skylar and Kirstyn Hunt; two sisters May Bell and Mary Ann Hunt; two brothers Jerry and Willie J. Hunt; five aunts Suewilla Woodford, Katie Butler, Agnes Mayberry, Rebecca Wright & Hattie Brown; two uncles, A.J. Wright & MacArthur (Viola) Hunt; three nieces Deatrice Seals, Jacquetta (Arzo) Winn, Jalessa Hunt; and three nephews, Roland Robinson, Shonda Hunt and J.D. Hunt.
